The 2007 vehicle is a Tomb Raider edition Defender 90, with a Td5 engine. Additions to the vehicle include Colway AT tyres and steel wheels, various spot and flood lights, a second battery, Dastek piggyback system, custom console, mains hookup, turbo controller, comms kit, luggage system and harnesses.

One other addition helped the team win the Organisers Special Award - an internet conencted GPS system. The vehicle would automatically update a website, while it was moving, to let people see where the vehicle was at any moment. Google earth files were also produced in realtime, to let internet based observers see the landscapes being driven through.
